Adult adoptions take patience and understanding as our retired moms or dads adjust to entirely new surroundings, people, and routines. Every dog is different. Some may take more or less time, and that’s okay. The 3/3/3 rule is a good reminder for setting realistic expectations. It’s not an overnight process!

Max-Black & Tan Male 8/23/20 & Mason-Chocolate Based Cream Male 5/8/22

Mason is now pending pick up

Max is a Lovebug Doxie and his brother Mason was born in our good friends, the Benedict’s, program. They have recently been returned to my care for re-homing. Originally adopted by a childless couple, the family expanded with time. Unfortunately, Max became aggressive towards the toddler in the family when she became mobile. Mason does not share in this aggression at all, but accompanied his brother at the previous owner’s request.

They are now looking for a home they can share, that does not include children under the age of 10. Max is not having any issues with my youngest kids that are 8 and 10. It’s just those quick shifty littles that freak him out!!

The boys are neutered, up to date, house broken, crate trained, leash trained, cat friendly, and well behaved. They will come with a large crate, toys, blanket, and food. They are standard sized Dachshunds.

Ready for immeadiate adoption. I would love to keep the pair together, however I have been unable to find anyone interested in both so far. At this point, I will place them separately.

Please fill out application for adoption.
