Stud Services

**Mr Darcy is available on a limited basis. Additional approval from his breeder is required to use this blood line. Only select bitches with suitable pedigrees will be considered.**

Females must be over 1 year of age, in good health, flea free, and up to date on vaccinations to be eligible for breeding. Studs are guaranteed by contract which can be viewed here.

Stud service takes place in our home over several days to ensure the best chance of success. [Semen shipping may also be an option for experienced breeders.] If you’re interested in stud services, please reach out before your female is expected to come into heat so we can discuss scheduling. She will need to visit around the 11th day of her cycle. Our goal is to achieve three ties, but this may take multiple days, as timing can vary. During her stay, she will be kept separate from all other dachshunds except the chosen stud.

I’m happy to provide genetic insights into the colors and coat types your female may produce with my boys, as well as links to resources on pregnancy and whelping to assist in your research. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out via email at any time.
