Introducing The Caesar’s Palace Litter

Extra, Bonus, Jackpot, & Reward

After 3 litters I offered Claire for early retirement as her litters were always quite small. She was chosen by one of our previous adopters, but those plans fell through while we were waiting for her heat cycle to run its course before pick up day. When their plans changed I consulted with the gals over at Benedict Dachshunds and decided to just postpone her retirement and let Caesar have a chance to sire a litter. He is a young newbie stud and sometimes they need ummm ‘practice’ 😅

It was worth a shot though as the pair are an excellent match. My intent was to keep a puppy from the litter, which I expected would be small again like usual, but it’s not this time!! Our roll of the dice was a success. Claire produced 4 stunning cream puppies!

The formal birth announcement will be released to the waiting list next week after I determine coat types at two weeks of age.

Extra will be on hold for awhile to determine if his coat is going to fill in. Not sure if the patchy coat he was born with is a permenant alopecia situation (not CDA because he is NOT dilute), or if it’s going to fill in with age. Never seen anything like it. Except in our hairless Sphynx cat Morty. Maybe Claire got mixed up with him 🤔🤣😂

Claire will also once again be offered for retirement after this litter is weaned.
