Stud Services

Females must be over 1 year of age, in good health, flea free, and up to date on vaccinations to be eligible for breeding. Stud is guaranteed by contract which can be viewed here.

Stud service takes place in our home over the course of several days. If you are interested, please contact me before your female is expected to come into heat to see if my schedule is open for such an endeavor. She will need to visit around the 11th day of her cycle. We will attempt to achieve three ties. This may take several days as a female is not always ready on the day she arrives. She will be kept separate from all other dachshunds except the intended stud.

I can provide genetic information regarding the colors and coat types your female can produce with my boys. I can also provide links to information about pregnancy and whelping to further your research as you wait. I'm available by email for questions at any time. When the puppies are born I will gladly advertise them on the Lovebug Doxie facebook page if requested.
