The Big Bang Litter

Last month I left Sunshine in the safe and capable hands at Benedict’s Dachshunds because she would deliver while I was away on a trip to Costa Rica. She delivered 5 beautiful puppies and I retrieved her just a few days later. We’ve been home and settling back into our routines, and today I got around to taking their photos to prepare for the formal birth announcement. That will go out to the waiting list on Wednesday late morning.

This is a litter sired by our friend Duncan over at Sunflower Dachshunds. The two cream males are undergoing DNA testing to determine which of the two will stay with the program as a future breeding prospect. Whomever I do not keep will become available by the time he is 8 weeks. Listed below are current weights at two weeks old today!

Penny - Black & Cream Female - 15 oz
