Time for an overhaul!

In recent years I have made some significant efforts to improve the genepool and how I run this program. I love the strides we have made towards bettering the breed. I'm working with some truly lovely Dachshunds and partnering with very reputable colleagues at this time. I'll be taking some time before our next available litter to do a major evaluation of my program.


I'll be reviewing pedigrees, conformation, and genetics to sort out a 3-5 year plan (keeping in mind nature doesn't always follow plans). This will include listing upcoming litters and looking ahead at retirements. As it is tax season I will also be reviewing their expenses and considering their needs for the future.

I'd like to refresh my contract, restructure our adoption fees, add to what we offer with each puppy, and further streamline the adoption process start to finish. You know I love things clear cut, transparent, and well detailed.

I hope to get some "stacked" photos of each member to properly display what we're working with these days from a conformation standpoint. And will also be getting adult photos of the 3 girls I've raised this past year.

Lastly, I'll be doing a semi-annual waiting list clean up, which may result in opening the list briefly if it seems needed. If you are on the list you'll receive an email asking you to renew your subscription. If you are no longer searching please make room for others by leaving the list at this time. You'll be welcome to re-apply if you want to adopt again at a later date.

Reminder that our next litter due April 5th will not be available right away. Those puppies will be evaluated at 8 weeks old for the stud owner and myself to each choose a puppy to keep. An additional litter is expected in May so that is the soonest I will have puppies to share again this year.
