Foster Puppies

The Foster Puppies are nearly 5 weeks old! These babies were sired by my Gizmo via stud service, I do not own their mother, but I was asked to care for them after her c-section and subsequent rejection of the pups. Ginger & Katniss were a big help so I didn’t have to bottle feed as often. The smallest has been under intensive care with tube feeding though, and now bottle feeding but still extremely small and will require an extended period of special attention.

They were originally intended to return to their owner after weaning as they have never truly belonged to me. However, I have received notice that due to the owner’s less than ideal experience with breeding her Dachshund, and the amount of time/effort that went into keeping them alive, she has decided they are simply best left in my care for placement. She will not be involved in their adoption and wishes to remain nameless.

No problem, I've got a great waiting list!! There will be a “birth announcement” email for them soon, Alice the runt will not be included.
